Coming UP! Reading Club
A delightful after-school club for struggling readers in the 1st and 2nd grades.
Target Audience
Designed specifically for children in 1st and 2nd grades who are falling behind in reading skills and need extra support to build confidence and proficiency.
Holistic Support
We provide a cheerful environment with snacks, songs, games, and engaging activities to create a positive learning experience that nurtures the whole child.
Reading Challenge
Children are encouraged to read 20 books to earn a prize, building motivation and accomplishment through achievable goals and recognition.
Family Involvement
The program concludes with a parent performance, celebrating the children's progress and involving families in their educational journey.
Program Information
We're improving literacy and curiosity through guided reading circles, story exploration, and access to age-appropriate materials. The club nurtures critical thinking and foundational academic skills in a supportive environment.
